About Me
I am a mutidisciplinary artist based in Aurora Ontario. I completed my BFA in the Drawing and Painting program at OCAD University in 2024. As a maker and a magpie, I use a diverse array of collected materials to create fibre art and mixed media paintings. Traditional mediums, foraged natural materials, and salvaged items ignite my imagination and inspire my process of experimentation. Fascinated by gesture, light and form, I incorporate these elements to capture the essence of what I see and feel. Having had a career as a professional social worker while raising my family significantly influences my art as I explore themes of memory and experience, transformation, healing and renewal.
